This page is dedicated to the clowns that I have personally known and / or observed, who have inspired me over the years and who I look to as role models as I perfect my own clowning. I have broken it into two parts.
Part I highlights clowns I have personally known or have actually watched their performances. They are on this page because they truly exemplify their callings and talents as clowns. All of them are clowns for the only "right" reason to be clowns; to ease the burdens of those they come in contact with on a daily and, yes, even hourly basis.
Part II is dedicated to my personal favorites from the historical pages of clowning. These, too, seemed to truly exemplify their callings and talents as clowns.
Read both sections and enjoy learning about some really great clowns; past and present. (click on each thumbnail below to read why each qualifies as one of my Clown Heroes)
